Grounds keeper/ Maintenance Manager
Job Profile and Description
The job of a Maintenance Manager involves repairing, servicing and up keep
of all the units and systems of a facility. This role is of immense
significance and responsibility.
Duties and Responsibilities
Regular inspection of all electrical, mechanical and other equipments of a
facility.
Detecting any defects and malfunctions, immediately repairing, and
refurbishing the same.
Coordinating with the production and other departments for feedback on the
functionality of machinery and equipments.
Reporting all defects and damages to the maintenance manager.
Complying with the industry standards and safety regulations of working.
Completing all tasks as delegated by the supervising authority.
Maintaining all records of the repair and maintenance works conducted in a
facility.
Effectively managing time and meeting all specified deadlines.
Skills and Specifications
Keeping the lawns and grass well manicured Weeding the garden and keeping it
immaculate Tending to the plants, trees, shrubs and ensuring their health
May or may not have the authority to plant new trees without permission
Maintaining the driveways clean of leaves and undertaking pressure cleaning
to keep them sparkling Trimming plants and maintaining high aesthetic appeal
of the outdoor space Supervising juniors and allocating responsibilities
with regard to groundskeeper duties A good knowledge about gardening methods
and foliage Must be hardworking Must be able to spend time outdoors Must be
strong and healthy since the work is of a physical nature and involves
lifting and working in sun.
Love and compassion for others
Ability to spot problems and diseases in plants and take up preventive
measures Excellent organization skills Good knowledge about machinery and
equipments used in groundskeeper/ maintenance job. Skilled in gardening
Should have good written as well as verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
Should be a good team worker and have the knack of coordinating work with
fellow workers.
Applicants will need to have sufficient on the job training, (1-2 yrs
experience preferred) |
